THE ROLE

The Environmental Health & Safety Consultant will offer EHS support to various remediation projects.

  • Perform Sampling and Testing
  • Observe and document field activities
  • Interact and communicate daily with contractors, technicians and project managers
  • Use field screening equipment and document readings

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a self-directed, results-oriented individual with a high level of enthusiasm, passion for the work and the following qualifications:

  • Positive, motivating attitude
  • A Bachelor in any STEM field
  • 1-2 Years’ experience in EHS consulting
  • OSHA 40hour Hazwoper
  • Field work as required
  • Ability and willingness travel to various client sites.
  • Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills to work successfully with a diverse range of people.
  • Flexible days/hours to meet the needs of the project, if needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to pass HAZWOPER physical and be able to wear respiratory protection

Construction Site Health and Safety Officer

THE ROLE

The Construction Site Health and Safety Officer is responsible for the enforcement of the corporate Health, Safety & Environment (“HSE”) program and providing safety oversight and support to large scale construction projects. The position requires the ability to work collaboratively with our clients and their team to provide a safe work environment while using independent judgment to resolve safety related issues.  Additional responsibilities:

  • The Construction Site Safety and Health Officer will ensure the maximum safety performance and awareness of everyone associated with the project (laborers, contractors, vendors, etc.) by following and enforcing our client’s Health and Safety Plan.
  • The Construction Site Safety and Health Officer will perform safety inspections of project sites on a regular basis and assuring that corrective actions have been implemented immediately.
  • The Construction Site Safety and Health Officer will generate and update daily activity reports.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a self-directed, results-oriented individual with a high level of enthusiasm, passion for the work and the following qualifications:

  • Positive, motivating attitude
  • 1-3 years’ work experience in construction safety A MUST.
  • First Aid/CPR certified
  • Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills to work successfully with a diverse range of people.
  • Understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, OSHA standards and EM 385 1-1
  • Flexible days/hours to meet the needs of the project, if needed.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Certified OSHA 40hrs, 30hr and 10hr, CHST certification preferred
  • Must be able to pass HAZWOPER physical and be able to wear respiratory protection

THE ROLE

The Director of Business Development will be a Growth Leader for the organization through the identification, evaluation, development of key client relationships and business opportunities. The position requires the ability to work collaboratively with our EHS Technical Teams in order to promote Emilcott’s capabilities to potential clients.

 

  • Leads and Directs – All lead generation and sales for all services across the organization
  • Develop Key Relationships – Identify, assess, target and actively develop relationships with decision makers to promote the interests and capabilities of Emilcott.
  • Strategic Planning – Develop, define & implement a clear strategy for revenue and profit growth of our Industrial Hygiene, Indoor Air Quality, Construction Safety and Technology units.
  • Networking- Attend local industry meetings, events, and conferences in order to build key pipelines and participate in a leadership capacity in industry organizations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a self-directed, results-oriented individual with a high level of enthusiasm, passion for the work and the following requirements:

  • Positive, motivating attitude
  • 5+ years’ sales experience selling Health & Safety, Engineering or Environmental Consulting Services
  • Utility Services experience and relationships preferred
  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills with a consultative sales approach
  • Solid track record of quota attainment and new client acquisition
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills to work successfully with a diverse range of people
  • Basic understanding of safety and health laws, regulations and/or OSHA requirements
  • Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
