Electrical Utilities
Electrical utilities have unique health and safety challenges to support their efforts in generation, distribution, construction and maintenance, asset management, and service. Our expertise covers many of the basic EHS issues workers face in these operations, emphasizing the specialized hazards associated with high and low-voltage electrical hazards and the associated requirements and regulations.
Gas Utilities
We have provided Health and Safety training and services to the natural gas and propane utility industry to support their distribution, construction and maintenance, asset management, and service efforts. There is always the unique challenge of implementing an effective EHS program in an industry with a high potential hazard product. We have effectively provided the basic EHS training and program support in these industries while also ensuring they focus on the unique hazards associated with handling flammable gas.
Water & Wastewater Utilities and Authorities
We have provided Health and Safety training and services to the water utility industry to support their water treatment, distribution, construction and maintenance, and service efforts. We have worked with their treatment, distribution, maintenance, and construction operations for the wastewater industry. We have effectively provided basic EHS training and program support in these industries while also ensuring they focus on the unique hazards associated with each specialized operation.
Alternative Energy Utilities
There are specialized hazards associated with Alternative Solar and Wind Energy operations that range from basic construction hazards such as fall protection to electrical hazards found in any electrical utility operation. There are also unique challenges implementing effective EHS programs in this fragmented industry, which comprises many smaller contractors that have not had much experience working in the larger utility industries.
